Welcome to our Beautiful Estate

It is only for personal and family reasons that we are leaving our dream home amidst unspoiled nature.  These are some of the precious things we enjoy about living here, memories of which will stay with us forever:

  • Unveiling of the seasons:  wildflowers in spring/summer, incredible fall colours, pristine winters.
  • Rich dramatic sunsets in summer, soft pastel sunsets in winter.
  • So many varieties of birds returning and departing with the seasons.
  • Longing calls of the loons.
  • Tranquility and stillness.
  • Sleeping in the hammock.
  • Morning espresso on lakeside porch.
  • Breathing deeply of the pure, fresh air.
  • Dragonflies darting around the shoreline.
  • Magical fireflies on warm summer nights.
  • Fresh smell of leaves after a rain.
  • Moose and deer crossing our lawn and fields.
  • Unbelievably starry skies.
  • Full moonlight filtering through the curtains.
  • Wind stirring the field crops, like waves on an ocean.
  • Exploring the lake and beaver pond.
  • Distant views of nature, and only nature, as far as the eye can see.
  • Watching rain clouds roll in across the lake.
  • Canoeing around bends in the lake, feeling as if we are the first humans to be here.
  • Watching our grandson catch his first fish.
  • Excitement of grandchildren running up/down the hill to the lake, with our dogs.
  • Teaching grandkids to paddle the kayak and drive the ATV.
  • Walking dogs, watching them dart excitedly in and out of the forest.
  • Seeing our place through the eyes of visitors, and watching them unwind from their stresses.
  • Relaxed driving to Fredericton through beautiful New Brunswick countryside.
  • Shopping in Fredericton and walking along its well treed downtown streets.
  • Proximity to U.S. border is a real treat, enabling us to import whatever we wish.
  • Of course, the creature comforts of our well appointed home:  sun-filled rooms, gourmet kitchen, sunroom, sauna.
  • Satellite TV and high speed internet that keep us connected to the rest of the world.
